An exercise in 'different folks interpretations of incidents'.
Look at the clip a few times, full screen, slow motion, and tell us what you think happened to bring on the yellow in this Super Saloon race.

76m lost steering and drove into wall causing 33m to stop? and/or over zealous yellow light finger cocked and went off early at 7m?

Number 7 hit a small bump which caused him to get a slight push in the steering which caused him to lightly tap the other car and spin around.

No 76 was heading for the wall before 7m had even spun. I guess 33 had no where to go.

Best reply has to go to:Posted by doubletrouble11d on Yesterday at 5:31pm "3 hot chicks walking pass the start finish, no wunder they spun out."Personally, mostly what all postings refered to. The purpose of the posting and video clip was in response to a comment made to me today, being, "as a result of the contact between 7m and the blue car 11m, 11m was protested and lost all points on that race?" I recalled seeing and videoing the contact and struggled to apportion blame to 11m, certainly to the degree of the loss of all points. Seems that more and more, 'crocodile tears' after a race might be achieving more than skills during a race!

I doubt it was the contact between 11m and 7m that caused the yellow which was your original question Murray. The contact between the two was a racing incident that could be ruled on by the ref either off his own bat or by a protest/appeal by one of the drivers involved . If 11m did loose all his points because of this particular incident(perhaps something else happened you didn't see?.) then he was obviously robbed .

I would put this in with the X-Files and needs more in depth analysis from CSI or some forensic investigation.
Using the my works hi tec Video gear and watching frame by frame. The 11 saloon (blue one) hits something on the track on frame 23. frame 24 the front left lifts. Frame 25-26 the object clears out from inside left behind front wheel. The 7 car back steps out and spins no contact was made.
The object is either a piece of debrie on the track or "Paranormal Activity" We have had ducks on the track so why not Ghosts I think it's time for the Blue caps make sure the track is clear of all debris, livestock and "Paranormal Activity" before racing commences.

Not wanting to wade into this publicly and won't comment on it. However it is amazing to see the video and hear the comments about a light tap or just spun up.
The reality of racing is that the contact was huge (It felt hard), pushing in a solid door plate (10 mm?) and two 50mm pipes behind it in by 2 inches. Also pushing a bar attached through a main chassis rail, causing the loss of the water system...... Nothing another $1,000 did not fix........
Racing a, good fun, not good for the wallet.
I did see it as just a racing incident, other drivers didnt.....
PS: There was nothing on the track!
