kane hargreaves 67w what a big man rolling a first time racer in his first ever meeting and now faced with the cost of major repairs already - great for encouraging new participants to the sport isn't it. i understand he is the youngest son of legend brian musgrove. perhaps his old man should get in the car and give you some payback! try picking on the big boys for once.

I found it strange when Hargreaves rolled 64v - a Max Motors sponsored car.
But when we watched the replay 67w had a punt from behind which pushed him into 64v. Also Hargreaves was up on points so would've been trying his best to qualify, so in hindsight I dont think he would take the risk of taking someone out intentionally unless he owed him one.

Enter into a meeting like a nz g.p. and I think you'd better be prepared for whatever may happen . Best stick to club nights if you want to avoid major upset or have special consideration .

Aaron knows what stockcars is about and wouldnt think he would have any heart feelings about itmaybe just annoyed at not getting more time behind the wheel, He would of been just enjoying being out there things happen thats the name of the game and if you dont want to be ruffed up everynow and again, you dont have any buisness being in that class good on Aaron for getting out there and having a run will the bug bite and take after his old man we will see?

ggg = New member, 1 post, registered this morning at 9.23am? what family owns the car Aaron was driving.......any guess who ggg is? hahahaha no prizes though its tooooo easy!
Aaron knows what stockcar racing is about, wrong place wrong time, if his car hasnt of spun the force fro being pushed wouldnt have tiped him, you cant do much if you get a shunt from the end can you? if anything Kane used that car Aaron was in to slow him down and not going full noise into the wall. No disrespect to Aaron but Kane done what any other racer would have done.

Just a question if anyone can help, I thought you had to have run 3 meetings before a NZ run meeting, eg: Nz Gp, NZ's, or NI's??? Just noted above that the person posting said it was his first ever run meeting, maybe I am wrong with the rules, sure is a big meeting to go into if it is his first so I guess if it is your first or 31st meeting you have to be prepared for what may happen, which I am sure he was.

nope the g.p is not a n.z title so you do not have to complete any meetings before you can enter

Man, this question seems to get asked every weekend NZ's, NI/SI, 3 meetings, or 1 if you raced 3 in the class the previous year GP, have car will travel International drivers, 5 meetings for the NZ and NI/SI, 0 for the GP. World 240's etc also fall outside of any requirements

I thought when he went thru the mentor program like all first time drivers HAVE to, his mentor would have explained that Stockcars were a contact sport, He did go thru the mentor program didn't he???

maybe he raced another class before hand because you normally have to do a mentor program before you travel

Harden up man,it was a soft roll anyway.I was watching 74b and he was the one that gave 67w a nudge going into the corner and caused him to nudge the newbie.Race incident get over it.

Hey, This is Aaron Musgrove 64v, i dont have a "account" on here so i have borrowed sues.
First to set a few things straight, None of our crew or associated extended family have a login under "gg" and that comment has not come from us or anyone associated with us.
I would like to thank "ggg" for his/her support, though miss guided, but would also like to agree with many of the following posts that it is stockcars and that is racing. Clearly i have been around speedway long enough to know that being rolled, taken out etc etc is merely part of racing (and an awsome experiance! especailly for my first night!!!) i entered the GP as my first meeting knowing full well the caliber of the field and that type of championship racing that occurs during qualifing!
To be perfectly honest i over drove into the corner and half spun myself and kane (to thebest of my knowledge) had no where to go. There are no hard feelings against Kane from me or any of our crew and wheather or not it was intentional or not it really doesnt matter ITS SPEEDWAY RACING and thats what its all about.!!!!!
Ill be back tonite for some more, its wicked fun and i would like to publicly thank the Al and sue for lending me the car (and not minding when i broke it :) they really are an awsome speedway family and also completely understand that damage is all part of racing) thanks to them ive had this wicked oppertunatiy and i hope that ill get more oppertunaties in the future to race!
Cheers
Aaron Musgrove 64v

Sorry, to add.
As per page 89 of the rule book, you must have entered 3 meetings for the New Zealand Stockcar championship, north/south island championship. The New Zealand stockcar grand prix however is not included in this.
I have priviously raced ministocks and have been told by many drivers over the years that stockcars is a contact sport ;) (i believe thats what the bumpers are for!)
Thanks
Aaron Musgrove
