I believe its because there is not going to be a Wanganui Warriors team at this years teams champs and obviously Steve wants to teams race so has joined the Stratford club to do this. Will be a good addition to the Scrappers & has been one of the most impressive drivers/blockers for the Warriors for the last 2-3 years and I'd say would be to hard for Stratford to ignore. With a Scrappers team of (Just my guess) Ogle, Guildford, Willemsen (if available), Worthington, Boulton or Hose (if either finish their cars on time) this could be a group of drivers to once again do the Taranaki region proud at start of February.

Thats not a bad pick there booker57s. Phil Ogle has done a lot of race miles in the last couple of seasons. Michel Willemsen has done a heap of racing lately successfully and deserves a shot if he is available. Mr Guidford will be a welcome addition to to the Stratford ranks. Gary Wothington with a bit more reliability and race miles will be ok. The others if finished on time wont hinder the team but if not available how about Brent Pascoe or Brett Boniface in their cars and John Booker as 6th driver? Food for thought.
