Just got back average meeting, a field of maybe 26-30 cars? Lots of dust, lots of mucking around meant coming home early

Ditto whoateallthepies - Sandy Flett won The Charlie - good mix of cars there - Pooh Bear Ross, Murfz 11N and cars from Welly, PN, Stratford, Rotorua and Huntly - Steve Halse won the first race and was straight on the truck (oil pressure, I heard). Good field of streeties and productions, and ministocks for Africa. But as the wind got up, so did the dust - grrrrrrr!
Big ups to the club on all the changes they have made though. There's now a flat area half-way up the bank at the southern end, and the view is excellent.

Yeah well done to the club, Pits looks good, could've done with some water out there from the dust coming through the pit gate i reckon as well as some water on the infield. The changes look good though. Still a little bit more to work on before the NZ's i guess too!

I think Rob Mason came second, but I left staright after the third race - Al Levein led the points going into race 3 but ended a lap down. The commentary wasn't especially helpful.

Thanks to the club for allowing us to have our 3rd teams derby race. Also thanks as the track was not a sloppy mess to drive on and made the teams racing easier. Special thanks to the Kartoons for good hard racing and giving us a beating in the first race. As well a really big thanks to the visiting streetstock drivers and to the Wellington Drivers thanks and we will try hard to repair our cars in time for the New Zealands in a fortnight. We all had a great time and you Wellington drivers done your club proud, thanks to the 2 Palmy cars and also the 64b car from the bay awesome you drivers and thanks.

good work wanganui club, track was good till it rutted up in finals, the hard work is paying of and the place is taking shape, needs alot of finishing touches eg water but well done was a awesome after noon, one big issue i found was the lack of lights especially when reds on, hope you guys get a heap more to put up.
