With half the speedway season gone already I am starting to look ahead and plan the big meetings and titles that we will attend. Perhaps Mr Macgor or one of the moderators could set up a thread that could have the titles listed and at which tracks they will run at ? After a great 2 nights racing with the Super Saloons at Huntly I understand that they will be racing for the NZ title at Meanee. What other titles/ tracks have been confirmed so far ?

Yeah David, I know what you mean. Slightly off topic I know but at Meanee tonight there was a guy who I have seen round a number of north island meetings in the last two seasons. Only got to talk to him briefly but he is retired, drives a little silver Toyota Q car and has been to 32 meetings this season. He lives in Tauranga. Does anyone know who he is ? He always wears one of those english peak caps, shorts and running shoes. I would like to introduce myself properly next time I see him, could well be a Macgors man ? Good to know there is two NZ titles we should be able to attend next season, unless the dates clash

A list of allocated titles for next season is on page 17 of the SNZ rulebook. This can be accessed on line via the SNZ website.

Thanks Karen, I should have looked there first. Thanks Gordon, yes he is certainly very dedicated. we have seen him all over the country wherever we have been to a big meeting. Last night Quentin was driving back to Tauranga after the meet. I hope I have his energy, passion and enthusiasm when I retire !
