I would just to say a quick thank you to all the Superstock drivers that turned on the entertainment for everyone that packed the embankments at Rotorua for the World 240’s.
That was the best Superstock meeting of action I’ve witnessed in a long time by some margin, apart from teams racing. The commitment many of you showed is hugely appreciated by this ex-jaded fan, and I’m sure most others who were there.
Anyone whose faith had waned in the Superstock class, I hope it has been restored again to full throttle like mine has. Bring on the Global’s this weekend in Palmy and the NZ Champs in Kihikihi.
So to whoever said Superstocks don’t hit anymore – YEAH RIGHT!

I'll third it..........the drivers were so relaxed in the pits before racing on Sunday I was worried, but did things ever change once the helmets were strapped on!!! Was a stunning show.......

Very exiting meeting meeting and great spectacle for the public some mostly never been to a meeting. Super stocks flag racing, yeah right. Tactical hitting at hi velocity . Bring on the New Zealand's Hemi I would say shut a few critic's up with weekend change the race in heat three with the hot on 4B.

You should see the damage on some of the cars one of the cars the brits used is a complete mess you would think it had been in a hard teams race

You should see the damage on some of the cars one of the cars the brits used is a complete mess you would think it had been in a hard teams race It was, wasn't it? P, R, and H v GB. The only GB car that seemed to avoid the biggest hits was 390. As one who always enjoys a full field of superstocks regardless of the contact, it was one out of the bag, a bit like the BOP Champs of a couple of seasons ago. Great racing guys. I reckon there will be a few who struggle to make Palmy this weekend doing the repairs and prep for KK.
