1993/94, the final season before the first retirement, and presumably the last of the flat chassis?? 5p Russell Harvey also had a Parkes car in the 1993/94 season, listed as 3 seasons old at the time.

as far as i am aware winstanley had two parkes cars, the 1st going to jason jeffs in blenheim and the second being sold to the waikato region. im sure that we have discussed this previously, where the 2nd mentioned car had been rebuilt and was racing this season or intending to race next season.

Hi there Danny still has the car I drove a couple of seasons ago. It is the ex Parks, Winstanly car. Danny brought the car from Winstanly and it sat in the shed for years before we rebuilt it. In the rebuild we changed the rollcage and front end but kept all the suspension and steering ideas but we did trade the holden for a ford. Car is still complete minus engine and may still be on 4 sale pages if not I will try and relist. Cheers Red

Winstanley in 1995/96, qualified for the NZ Champs at Welly stabbing in the dark here, i'd suggest its the Parkes car from 92/93 and 93/94, the back of the bonnet/bottom of the windscreen design gives it away.

Winstanley in 1995/96, qualified for the NZ Champs at Welly unfortunately that night didnt end so well was up on points too, top 3 heading into the final heat. i crewed on the car the following season when cliff frost took the helm and was sold at the end of that season. note the first winsatanley car had vertical front shocks where as the second one had lateral mounted shocks.

Mark Ingram and Kesty Manning. Parkes built Ingram a spaceframe shortly after too, another car that raced half a dozen meetings then has not been seen since.

Nice pics Tim, certainly brings memories of the 90's back. I know I have mentioned this before in another post, the last photo of Paul is a copy of the Parkes chassis he (Paul) built. Paul's Parkes chassis was sold to Kevin Lowe who converted it to a standard stock, the Parkes copy went to Hamilton, then Paul rebuilt and debut the ex Archie Miller sidewinder Gordge.
