Lunchbox Yes he did, and I am sure a 1NZ will come to him in the future, very impressive young driver making a limited budget work. Interestingly the Speedway Archive has missed the 05/06 results out completely. 2005/06 KihiKihi Tony Fabish Shaun Insley Michael Brunt

Yes, I think some of the confusion probably arose when he jumped into another car for the weekend, but surely he still ran as 17k?

Michael Brunt is; Current & two time 3NZ 3rd in last running of Midget Gran Prix 3rd in last running of the North Island Midget Championship He raced the 17A (thats what was on the tail tank) car at Stratford for the Nationals. He is registered to Kihikihi as 17K this season, Huntly as 17H last season & 17A (I think) three seasons ago. Came 9th in Springs track championship points (over 7 meetings )this season Came 5th in this seasons Samsung Midget World Series (over 4 meetings ) Well done on your top placings this season Michael. Sure is...............but he's licenced to 2k's I believe A bit like when Craig Pierce won the 1998 NZ Superstock title, he carried a Rotorua licence but drove a car with an "A" on the side
