I would imagine there is a little excitement amidst the Sprint Car ranks with 1000 dollars up for grabs this Saturday night. ;D
After all, we have been through some tough times over the last two years.

I thought Skinny was running Ferndene this weekend as well?
Wow $1000 thats 7 feature wins in a Stockcar at Baypark..... or a nights racing without damage in a Sprintcar.
Should be good to watch! I take it the Mini Stocks will be up last as it's their night isn't it?

yep the sprint car meeting is turning to sh1t because no one will commit to going i myself have committed to taking two cars there but it appears thats all they have entered (dam it one track Ive never pushed the loud pedal down on) so if anyone out there knows of any others going please ring Peter Hogan and tell him your coming (yes that includes you to Ron) that way we can all have a shot on a different track (hard to come by now) anyway heres Peters number 027 260 5555 or ring me (Martin ) on 021 241 0770 and IL relay it to him and don't forget Wellington sprint car champs are on the 27th of march(I'm still accepting entries ) and also features the SS-CAR super saloon series and Wellington Mini stock title cheers Martin Halcrow WSS President /Sprint car 24W

Ryan Oconnors name is down to run at fernden this weekend? Maybe he has worked out how to be in two places at once!!!hmmm go to Inglewood and race on a Great Surface and have a lot of fun and be one of the favorites for a podium spot or go to play in Willies Sand pit and race on a crap surface and bust some gear and watch some local win $1000 its amazing how hard some decisions are to make.

Hey hey, cool it on the watching a local boy winning the $1000. We do have some good drivers at Baypark. Other then that pretty much everything else you've written is dead right!!

Good on ya HRC for daring to step aside from the rest of the flock that has bowed down to dictatorship and a game of follow the leader, a case of he's not going so I wont go, they aren't going so we wont go, and so on. For the sake of a small carrot dangled in front of them. It could have been a good chunk of the row of carrots up for grabs. These guys could have been running on one of the better tracks in the country where they could really stretch their legs, put foot thru the floor, and certainly the best condition the track has been in for a number of years, hard and very fast. Circumstances have changed because of the follow the leader thing, but its not too late to make the NZCTRA title happen and altho the row of carrots has shrunk due to a change of focus in our advertising. All it will take is 10 (minimum, that will give a field of 14 cars) calls of definite confirmation to Trucker and the title will go ahead as planned, but those calls need to happen pretty smartly within the next 24hrs. Go on I dare you to grow some readies and break away from the herd and experience what others in the past have raved about, exercise your freedom of choice and make the call. Oh and this is our sandpit

Hey all. Ryan O'Connor here.
We entered two cars for this meeting, definatly excited about running this place when we filled the forms.
Unfortunatly we did not get any reply about our entry or information regarding the progress of this meeting. With a large team there is a bit of organisation required before attending a out of town show. I rang a member from Ferndene on Tuesday and was told, "We don't know whos coming, whoever arrives, races".
Then we where offered a nights racing at Baypark by Willie Kay with good money avalible. With confirmed cars and a confirmed show we can organise a nights racing.
Ferndene seemed a little risky for us to attend then have no other cars arrive. Which we thought would be the situation when we had to make a decision between Baypark or Ferndene.
Its a shame not being able to run Ferndene because I have heard great stories about this place, hopefully in the future a meeting like this can be organised with a good car count, then without a doubt, you will see us on that dirt.
Hope this helps. Ryan

Ryan Firstly that being the case, my humble apologies you may rest assured whoever you were talking to we will hunt them down and kill them, because most of the drivers that had changed their minds have only done so because you did. Because first in a race without you in it is really second or third!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey Ryan thanks for clearing that up. If Brindel doesn't show up on Saturday, I will split my lazy $10.00 bet on you for the win. Normally 6m James Dahm gets it all. ;D
