Its great to hear these positive comments about foxy in a sprinter - hope we see him and the team out there in one on occasion next season, as I believe more seat time would certainly have him pushing hard for those top placings. Would still be interested to hear if there was much difference in the way of costs between the two top cars - the spinter and 1nz modified. good on all those involved for making it happen - always good to see guest drivers. please don't take this as gospel but from what I have been told with regard costs to build a competitive sprintcar (engine from the States), the initial cost compared to our mod is less believe it or not. If you get an engine done locally you would be looking at near enough the same costs for both classes. I am not comparing sprintcars to all mods, only to ours. There are a number of cheaper mods around but the same could be said for sprintcars as well. Where sprintcars are more expensive is in the running costs to keep them at the pointy end of the field. Thanks for the heads up Jamo - Its good to get an insight into what would be probably be as close to equivilent cars in there respsective grades (please note i didn;t mention "teams" given the Ron Salter 3 car special ) With more tracks running sprinters at different times, FOxys and the teams experiance at different tracks would certainly level out the playing feild. thanks again for the insight, and look foward to the updates through the offseason!
