Couldn't have agreed more with your wonderful post superstock. I too attended this event and it was awesome!!!! Apart from the horrible weather i couldn't have dream t of being anywhere else in the world then at NZs most Premier Superstock event listening to those thunderous v8s roar around Paradise Valley Raceway!!! Through all the carnage and dust emerged our new NZ champion 14n Dale Ewers who deserved the title. And so the sun sets on the 2010/11 NZ Superstock Champs at Rotorua, and we now turn our attentions to Huntly 2011/12. Who could it be only time will tell. Cheers Quadzilla

Totally agree, Sonja and the Rotorua Club team put on a great event at a great venue. I have no complaints with anything at all. I took my older mum and stepdad to the finals night - they'd never been to anything like it before and thourougly enjoyed themselves at a great venue with a cool attmosphere. Things I especially liked were: * The well lit Rotorua venue with it's terraced seating and well prepared racing surface. * Great balanced commentary constantly keeping people up-to-date with info on a clear sound system. * The program * The ample free parking and friendly wardens * The way the infield tractor was used to lift up cars in nead of repair under the 3 minute bell, this helped keep the meeting flowing I'm sure. * An official came to the car with her clipboard before each race to let us know what grid we had for the next race, * Everyone standing up for the National Anthem at the start was a neat buzz. All in all a very well run meeting which delivered more than it promised and had a really good feel to it. Well done Rotorua.

you know the great aspect of Speedway in NewZealand is the uniqueness of each club, and seeing the development and progression of a few over the years, especially Rotorua, has been very rewarding credit to drivers and crews as well grand parade on wednesday machines looked resplendent and presented like they were brand new.

Guess you didn't get a close up look at Higgys car [/quote] How about a picture of your speedway race vehicle?
