ok...ur shocks are shagged!! We're running Nissan/Datsun. It says in the rules STANDARD shocks to be used....this means you are able to put new shocks in as long as they meet OEM standards??

i trhink they mean front shock absorbers (i no i cant spell ;D) must be standed and all springs have to come out of a Datsun, much be standed, but we run Munro Gar shock absorbers in the rear, work realy well, hadd them for aout 2 seasons and never had a problem with them, as far as i know they are legal, everyone in palmy runs them. might have get get BIGMAC's or Basil's rule book out for this one hope this helps

From SNZ Rules
" Datsun 1200, Datsun 120Y, Datsun 1200 " " Ministocks must be made from ONE donor car"
So you cannot us other model or manufacture OEM suspension parts

You can buy new ones (i.e Monroe) as long as they are direct replacements for the originals.

So will make sure that the shocks we get are direct replacements for the datsun/nissan, which I was assuming (bad word that one)anyway and go from there. cheers all.
