I believe that ministocks have the right to have a NZ title on their car. This is because all the other classes are boring and I need a meeting where no hotdog is needed. Also, this is a great chance for clubs to make a great amount of profit due to the fact that it will be a 7 day meeting and no one could turn down this great offer. If midgets and stockcars get a NZ title then I don't see why ministocks cant? This would be a good opportunity to recognise the future of NZ speedway and who is going to be the ones to look at in years to come.
I am welcome to other opinion, however, I have felt strongly about this for some time and I believe that i'm right and this should be implemented some time in the near future.
After reading this you will have no reason but to accept my proposal so I have a few questions for you. How would the title be allocated out as many tracks race this class as they are the most entertaining. My last questions is what ministock driver will win this title? My pick is 42H Lance Gribble.

Chur, ex 84D ministock crew member ok first of all, you say all other classes are boring?why would it be a seven day meeting? how would a track profit from 7 days in a row of just ministocks?. you cant compare ministocks with midgets and stockcars as they are 2 of new zealands premier grades and no offense to ministock drivers but when was the last time you heard someone say, i cant wait for the ministocks this weekend. after reading this post it just left me puzzled. in no way did it give me a reason to support a nz champs for ministocks but it could for others. also lance gribble races stockcars not ministocks lol

Yes they have the right to have a title, however if the majority wanted it something would have happened by now. Everything else in your post begs questioning however. If it were profitable to run a week-long meeting anywhere in this country, odds are it would have been done already. Fine and dandy if you find other classes boring, the majority of us see it the other way around and until that changes it will always be an uphill struggle to successfully promote and run a meeting of that timescale in this country. I have not said impossible, because I don't know what might happen a few years down the road. If you back your idea this strongly however, get in touch with your local club and put a written proposal forth and see what they come back with, then you'll have something a bit more concrete to move forward with.

Chur, ex 84D ministock crew member I have a strong feeling this is a troll, Anyway where did you get the 7day meeting bit from? If the nz stockcar champs gets 150+/- cars and runs in 2days you would be looking over 500cars for a 7day meeting. Also I know plenty of people who could turn down this 'great offer', myself included.

It seems the Gribbs fan club has struck again! This would appear to be the latest in a series of posts from these amusing pranksters.
As it stands Ministocks already have a CTRA NZ Title so if Ministock competitors wish to become a NZ champion they can enter that event.

For ministocks to have a New Zealand title it would mean that they would have to become a national class as they are currently only a regional class.
