Hi all, we are new to the ministock scene and have purchased a car and we would like to tidy up a few things, can anyone tell me how much on average do the cars use per race, i would like to make a smaller tank, and also on the carbie there is a long large nut coming off it facing slightly forward with a wire coming out of it what is this? we would appreciate all the help we can get, cheers Mike and Harry Zachan

20 litre jerry can and a full tank would last us 2 meetings with one car, when racing 2 cars would be touch and go for one night. Have forgotten what that sender does, but can be removed.

There are guys in Auckland running 3 - 4 litre capacity tanks and re-fuelling after every race; mainly to help keep weight to a minimum. I find for a new driver 7-8 litres will comfortably last 3 ten lap races.
