we do every year, only 3 of us this time & fly out Friday from Brisbane. love this holiday to return home for couple weeks..

It's an event never to be missed. I fly from Perth Ditto, fly from Port Hedland to Perth Tuesday morning, then Auckland via Melbourne arriving Wednesday. I have a 7 day window so hope the weather isn't an issue. |

We do from GB,well we have been to 5 teams champs,we came to one before we had a team here. Unfortunatly not this year,due to family and work commitments.Hope to be back on next year,it's better for us when the big meetings are closer together,it's a long way for one weekend that could get rained out,lol

I met a couple of English chaps in Northland last year who were touring round on their way to Palmy, and met another English couple at the Teams Champs. I've stayed in touch with them via social media, and they're all hoping to come back in 2015.

haven't missed one yet, since moving to Brisbane 5 years ago. Had some pretty scary flights over and back though even a 8 hour wait at Brisbane airports, then having a Taxi Van paid for by the airline from Welly's to Palmy at 1am Friday morning.

Cheers Inventory1 and Ramjam, you ol'boys aren't too shabby yourselves either chaps!
I have made the trip over 3 times now from the UK, the first time (2010) was a once in the lifetime trip with my mum and late father, then (2012) I dragged a stock car buddy and non stock car buddy (his first oval meeting was the Teams - not quite sure he understood it all!), then in (2013) myself and Neil (the stockcar buddy) came out again and dressed as fighter pilots! As Tony says we bumped into him in the middle of nowhere in Northland, then he introduced us to Ramjam and the holiday went downhill from there - quickly! Haha. We also bumped into a Hawkes Bay fan at Auckland airport and shared a flight with him to Oz.
All being well I will be out again next year, and hopefully 2 other brits we met at the teams last year will be out again too, and as for Neil, I've not asked, but I guess he'll be up for it!
As Tony and Ramjam have said, we've all kept in touch and hopefully we can all meet up again one day, be it down there or up here!

I'm over again this year, was over last year for the 240s and back again but just for the Teams this year due to work commitments.
Met some great people here last year and looking forward to meeting and talking to many more of you again this time around - brought the missus this year for the first time, think she thought my reason for me wanting to come back so quick was because I'd met another women!
Should be good again this year and looking forward to it - it's a b'laddy long way to come though for a Stockcar meeting, arrived in NZ yesterday after a 39 hour trip!

Wish I was there. Haven't been to a teams champs in person for many a year but an avid follower here in ABERDEEN UK. Ex midget racer at the springs. The big bird will hopefully carry me home in a couple of years time & a Superstock will be awaiting for me!!!!!!
