They cannot get third in this format as its not 13 teams. The top four teams will fill 1st to 4th and the second tier 4th to 8th. The three Tigers, Panthers and Mustangs are no longer seeded teams next year. Upsets a plenty this year which is good for the sport as its keeps the blood flowing in the smaller clubs and tracks. However I do agree with Barry B the Refs are getting a bit pedantic with little minor indiscretions that are very difficult for the drivers to see or avoid in the nature of teams racing!!!!!!
Bring in the finals and Refs let it happen on the track!!!

The highest point scoring winner from tier 2 races the highest point scoring loser from tier 1 for 3rd and 4th place.

In an internet cafe at the moment and still smiling about the action last night. Had a large contingent from Nelson behind us last night and most of the night one of the girls was heckling all the teams for how rubbish they were relative to mighty Nelson. Was pretty sweet once Nelson went down and the moaning started. Oh its Boris's fault, Dale Ewers shouldn't be there, why didn't the tank race etc. etc. As a baypark man I didn't have to say anything, the big baypark speedway on the back of my shirt did the talking!

I geuss thats teams racing & thats why we all love it so much. Group B was the only one that I picked wrong last night, well quite spectaculy actually. I went for safety in this group but had a flyer on Wanganui.... Anyway, can some intellegent person inform me of when the last time Nelson wasn't in the top 4 from night 1. Ta.

After years of people complaining about refs not noticing when palmy cuts the pole line or attacks from the grass, its pretty sad how people are complaining that they are too pedantic now they have actually start doing it like people kept asking them too.
That said - Go the BUSTERS and Go the HAWKEYES!!!

Best Teams Champs ever, No P teams in the semi's It Just got even better with a DOUBLE P SMASHING on night 2 , and Gary Parkes wins the Sour Grape's award for the weekend, it didn't sound like there were to many people supporting the P after the comments he made.
