More times than the amount of people in the crowd. Where the heck were the so called Speedway fanatical Poles?. Has politics got in deeper than we know about.

I would say without gollob crowd numbers may have something do with that.

Dont think it has anything to do with/without Mr G. Weather played some part,.. tho i think its more politics and pricing. Interesting that all of the early season Extraliga matches have been virtual sellouts, with the crowd support fanatical as ever. Seems like a reaction against BSI,s attempted bullyboy tactics in the off-season.

Thats possibly the reason like you said. When it comes bigger stadiums like torun, parken and cardiff those numbers show major drop in fans then bsl have major problem on their hands. So interesting times ahead me thinks

On the streaming thing....original topic, there a quite a few sites that carry a live feed, won't mention them here, coz they're supposedly a little dodgy (in a kim.c sorta way)..easy enough to find. If one aint comfortable with that, youtube usually has them within a day or 2. Same thing goes for the Polish Extraliga, and when it starts up soon, Swedish Elitserien.

I do know one live streaming site, not entirely sure if covers sgp speedway. Been watching F1 through the feed, only seen English speedway league advertise of late. obviously you need be next computer 1 day- 2 get the feed. I haven't seen too many other sites on world wide web

Bydgoszcz is Gollob country. Polish speedway is tribal. No Gollob, no crowd who will travel to a relatively out of the way town to watch the SGP. And with no Gollob the locals won't go either. Hampel and Kasprzak dont have the same appeal to the public of Bydgoszcz as they are from Leszno and Lodz so they are basically hated. The only Polish rider who could unite the fans of Poland has gone from SGP and I think they will struggle to get a crowd, unless they go to either of their 2 riders home towns from now on.

It was suprise half empty stadium hampel i thought would of boosted crowd numbers. If you watch sgp in the past on cold wet night when gollob has been racing place has been packed out this year no gollob thats empty stadium. I highly doubt when it goes parken Denmark your see it half empty with likes triple world champion nicki pederson. Certain home based riders significantly bring in the crowds
