hi ill ask this part of the forum maybe didn't get an answer in the tec section because I mentioned it was for a ministock but anyway, how are the quick release hubs fitted to the steering shaft? welded? any pictures would be helpful thanks Mike

Yep. Just weld the centre piece flush with the end of the shaft.

Thanks for that might have to sleeve the shaft a bit too, quick release a tad larger diameter

make sure you leave the spline hub a few mills up for the steering shaft end. So that you dont have to grind the weld flat if your steering wheel has a solid centre. Ron Tye's broke off at the teams for this reason!
