Who's going to come out on top between Osborne in 5T and Burson in 26T. if the track is as good as last week it should be good racing for this group. Since they are just filling in for Daryl and Shane there points go to the respective normal drivers Weather is fine with just a light cloud cover

Is Burson not doing the series in his own car this season?

Bursons` car was for sale last year and then in the lead up to this season turned up with the new paint job. Ian ran the car at a couple of early meetings at the Glen and at the NZ Champs in Wellington. If I remember correctly it was mentioned in Dirt Track that Burson would sit the Elf Super Cup out this season.

WOW what a race Ritchie and Ray elected to start off the back and finished 3rd and 5th. Ritchie had to pass campbell 3 times due to yellows after passing him.

Great night racing and have to agree Ritchie and Ray drive from the back was the highlight off the night. Mark got to grip with the 5T and ran the tap to pass super stocks way well. Ian had fuelling issues in the first to heats and was going well in the feature until he had to pull to the infield. All up some great passing and racing. 2 rounds next weekend.

The pole shuffle was definitely a highlight for us, 811c was foot down and beating 5T was a shock. Great saloon car racing for sure
Pity the stock cars weren't there, always good to watch, bit over Ministocks to be honest.
Streetstocks were good too, some good hits, but getting told to tame it down... A bit of a joke for a contact grade.
20 cars in the derby was a bit ratnuts, so that ended our night after 5mins.

A bit of a joke for a contact grade. The Stockcars were racing their South Island title at Invercargill. To familiarise yourself with the Streetstock rules RACE IN PROGRESS R13-2-22 Contact between vehicles during racing is permitted. R13-2-23 Deliberately forcing other cars into the wall is not permitted R13-2-24 Excess attacking is not permitted. R13-2-25 Reverse spinning is not permitted

Here goes,, my first post in years. The super saloons is where my interest lies. I think Roger will be aggrieved at Osborne "bulldozing" him off the track out of turn 4. He powered up the inside of 811 out of turn 4, but there wasn't really the room. With Rodger clearly ahead and slowly coming down on pole on the front straight, accelerating at same rate now (about a third of car width change} out of the turn(which he is entitled to do, so minor he could be said to "holding his line" as Osborne's front was at 811 left rear wheel level, and accelerating at the same pace}, there was contact with 811's left rear, Osborne holding his line right on pole with accelerator set down (may have momentarily turned his wheels right to stop being dragged infield} spilled 811 round his front bumper, to be jettisoned infield. I think, and again my opinion, is the trailing car would have got out momentarily to swap over to make pass on the outside. The ELF Cup is a brilliant show and have their own travelling refs, own show. Great to see Woodford Glens track get some more clay and therefore Drive. Lasted half of the super saloon racing. Boy what a spectacle when they could get that power down. Brings me to another observation. One would be jealous of Ritchie's side bite, that car just cranks the right rear foot print hard down on the turns in the slick, when others are jacking up and making their suspension quite solid. That Gorge has a few tricks in it I reckon, certainly rises and falls heaps with power on/off. The street stocks,, wow what a show twice, maybe three times now I have left "The Glen" felling well entertained, awesome.
