The process to upgrade to a National Class is found in the SNZ rule book page 21.Apart from the honour and glory a national championship for this class would provide some interesting scrutineering discussions and comment on legality of some cars.Probably needs a lead from one of the first div tracks or the mini stock sub committee acting on behalf of the grade in general, if there is sufficient interest.More comment required to guage interest in a SNZ title. Doesnt stop Ashburton continuing to run their NZ title which I have enjoyed for over a decade.

Also there are enough rule interpretations (bending?) now, without adding fuel to the fire. Was only ever envisaged as a starting grade and IMHO should stay there. But anyone and/or club can propose at remit to do this.
