Stan, sold the Gordge as a roller to Huntly (same guy who brought his Kuriger) the running gear from the Gordge will go in to the new Rees tank (Pete has 15 cars in total to build this off season,8 superstocks and 7 stockcars)

I bought both superstocks from Stan ... He is a great bloke and an asset to the sport .... They superstocks will run out of Huntly .and hopefully travel .. I'm new to superstocks but used to crash my modified most nights I raced ....and was suggested that I was in the wrong class .... Am looking forward to the new season .... I have an "Famous or Infamous " A grade driver coming out of retirement to race the gorge lol .... We are hoping to have at least 10 superstocks at huntly this season .... And will have enough numbers to run club nights .... Hoping Stan will come up in his new Rees rocket and have all 3 cars on the same track

Think the Kuriger was built for the little pom Kris Allan from Huntly for the NZ title in Huntly in 1997? Had a mercruiser engine in it originally, but never did a lot of racing. Think the little pom was a former crew member for Kevin Free, hence the mercruiser connection. Think it was lime green with pink chassis, 86h for a long time.
Car eventually converted to Toyota v8, was painted red in retko colours still 86h I think., towed with red retko bus in a tidy looking package. Was sold to Micheal Aulding I think.
A good car and buy I reckon, hasn't done a lot of work at all for a car that old. Somone might have photos from its earlier days

Obby is right, that's a fairly short history for this car, looked great in the Retko colours when Kris Allen had it.
