It was with a mix of emotion's I learnt of Ron's passing on Saturday night at Waikaraka. I had been wondering as to his whereabouts earlier in the evening as I wandered through the pits. The sadness was punctuated with an internal chuckle as I reflected on our conversations while scrutinising my car, rarely missing an opportunity to give me a bit of grief. A mountain of a man.
