2016 SNZ Commentator of the year Bradley Wilson Dean has won the NZ Solo bike Championship at Oreti Speedway with an unbeaten 6 ride performance. He has created a unique slice of SNZ history for himself as the first competitor to win a milestone 75th staging of any NZ title.. I hope this and the upcoming 75th Midget title are recognized at seasons end by those running the Sport.

top effort and certainly a name to keep an eye on as Bradley carves out his career in the UK.there must be some concern within motorcycle speedway ranks in regards to the strength of the class, and the numbers that are attracted to enter events. At least this years NZ title had 16 entrants as opposed to recent years. Are the kids starting way too young and instead of starting their career at 15 years of age theyre finishing it at that age as theyve had enough having started at 6-7 years of age.

2016 SNZ Commentator of the year It is not the age they start that's the issue it is the fact that so many SNZ tracks now have a Clay surface that the Bikes simply cannot race on which means once those riders are old enough to travel they actually have no where to travel to!!!!. Rosebank, Moore Park and Oreti are brilliant but if you want to ride more than ONCE a month it means a 5 hour drive in the North Island and prob about the same down South.
I see my thread has been moved to the Solo Bike section when I had actually wanted it to be mainstream so everyone could see it.
