will they run it tomorrow if is rained off  It has been postponed, date to be decided later. that is unfortunate, dates are slowly slipping away - hope they can sort something out. |

Bloody weather,I don't think teams will be to keen to travel back to Meeanee this time of year,weather to risky now.

Really surprised re the postponement. I am in Hastings 10 min from track & apart from a light shower this morning we have had no rain. Heavily overcast - yes, but that seems like a big call when the teams are already here. Must be more to it maybe given the amount of moisture already in the track??

seen several weather reports ranging from a few showers to several hours of light rain around and at the track. It sure wouldn't have taken much to destroy the track judging by night 1.

Must be more to it maybe given the amount of moisture already in the track?? 20th Season on the Mic The track is absolutely sodden underneath and the constant drizzle has only added to the problem. The Grader today sliding sideways whilst trying to redress the track so it was an unfortunate forgone conclusion. |

20th Season on the Mic
I may be wrong but I can't recall any other meeting being so affected by the Weather year after year.
The decision has been made to not run the remainder of the event this season due to lack of available dates, St Johns and drivers with other commitments.
Ultimately up to the Promotion but I would like to see the 4 semi finalists come back early next season to complete the event and then run the next PB Teams later in the season but not in March as we seem to get hammered by the wet stuff.

Delay guy fawkes for a week. Race p.b teams that night. Or other option give it to kihikihi. See if all 4 teams will commmitee to race for the peter barry up there. Astumo that is still a possibility and Peter barry stockcar teams racing and kihi kihi do go together
