so sad to hear this about Tony,,,i used to love going to forest lake and watch tony racing. thoughts are with Jill and Scott John Harnett.

OMG. That's such sad news. Not just one of the gentlemen I've met through my years in Speedway, but probably THE gentleman. Our sport has had a bad recent run with Clark Proctor and Barry Hunter amongst others. They will all forever be part of our history though, and thus never forgotten.....

Yep very sad,Tony was a very smooth tidy driver and had some great looking cars,one of the legends in saloon car history.

So sad to read this today.
When I started racing Tony was someone I respected and looked up to as a consummate professional and all round good bugga. He was also a very, very skilled Saloon car driver.
Another Legend has shaken off his mortal shackles and now graces the great speedway circuit in the sky, where there are no limits.
RIP Tony and thoughts are with your Family at this sad time.
