Might have missed it but what time are gates open to public? With scrutineering being at the track possibly public will have access from 11.00am Friday and 1.00pm Saturday. A small pet hate of mine is after scrutineering cars get put on the infield and deny the public the chance to view them close up, its good to be able to wander around the pits before race-time particularly for those getting there early. Hope that is not the case this year.

I would say they will all go to the infield to stop tampering with the cars and yes it is annoying for us fans🥴

I guess we have 2 options,
1/ Car scrutineered, parked in infield, unable to be worked on.
Car wins championship, not DSQ on technicality
2/ Car scrutineered, parked in pits, adjustment made
Car wins championship, DSQ on technicality

What do you suggest they would be changing

$50 are they for real, that is more than gate entry, and all you get is what the camera is focusing on. .

It's the Tanks with P on the side that roll up trying to sneak in with an unsealed motor that's the biggest worry 🤣🤣

Hey all,
So this year we are not parking the cars in the middle unless SNZ have other ideas. We as the club decided to leave the cars parked at the trailers as it is better for you the race fans to see the cars, take photos and interact with the drivers. If any one wanted to get scrutineered and them muck with there car then they are only cheating themself out of a championship and i don't think will happen anyway. We want to include the fans as much as we can.
This year at the Merch Box we will have Bucket hats, T shirts and hoodies as well as we have NZ Superstock posters and stickers, so make sure you get there and get your stuff early as we do have a limit on what we have. This Merch box is on the Hastings side of the grounds in the food vendors area behind the old Chixieland building.
As for the live stream i have been told by Geoff from Kiwi motorsport media that they have around 11 cameras that will be filming the racing and what's going on in the pits. From what they are saying they are going to do I think this will be the best stream you have ever seen. He has 2 guys that work for sky TV coming to help film this meeting and there will be wall cameras getting all the action. I think i might even buy the stream after the meeting so i can see how it was, that's how good it sounds to me what he is doing.
We have spent many hours out there and the place is looking the best it has in years.
See ya all Thursday, I'm back out to the shed today to finish the cars.

I bet SNZ will come along and wreck it all again and want the cars parked in the infield 🥴😜

Weather looking very average for tonight and even a little average for tomorrow as well. Will rain out just roll over to following days if need be?
