Having watched N I Super Saloon meeting on Bay per View last night I got the icing on the cake in the Sprintcar feature.
The racing was just insane, so fast.
The commentators keep mentioning Ayrton Hodson 28M. In a talent laden field he started down the field, played the mature race game and slowly picked off the field and final lap picked off Larson who had lead from flag drop.
When they interviewed him , surprised how young he is, and bigger surprise ex Skinny car and he crews for him.
What is Hodson's speedway history and is he from a speedway family.
He has talent like's of Taylor, Larsen, Wood , Brindle, McDonald etc.

His father Paul raced modifieds. Super nice family who deserve every bit of success they get.

Ex huntly ministock racer, now dose heaps of circuit racing as well as speedway, looks like he is racing some sort of vehicle every week, Paul use to go pretty good in his modified. Think ayrtons brother races too

i crewed for Paul for about 20 years,when he drove Tom Thompsons modified,then his super saloon and back to modifieds very talented driver and this has rubbed off on both of his sons
