I'm surprised there's no thread for this?
Should be a great weekend.

I'm a big fan of both Streetstocks and Sidecars (possibly the only crossover fan between the two in the Universe), so I can't make up my mind between Palmy and Wellington.
I've made the Modifieds my tiebreaker. If Wellington manage to cobble together 10+ Modifieds for the Saturday I'll head to Te Marua, otherwise it will be another trip to Palmy.

Which is what frustrates me about not being able to get to either. Sidecars are what got me hooked on speedway. Streetstocks are definitely appealing even if they only had half this entry list. If I could go anywhere it would be the Streetstocks, knowing I (wish I) could go up the road to NZ Sidecars later. I like what Welly is doing for tier 2 and 3 for the Streetstocks to get the most cars possible running for some champ format.

Where is scrutineering and what time? Look forward to catching up with a lot of mates. Good luck too all competitors. Remember to finish first, first you must finish

Make that 3 - Rammers & NZ Sauber. Sidecars are definitely #1 & always worth the price of admission. The Streetstocks always have the right attitude, which was even better under the old rules back in the late 90's when I was in Gisborne as the car running first was always the target with Nigel Patterson often leading the chase.

The likes of Patterson & Watene Waikari from Gizzy, The Chargers of the likes of Bill Peat(A), Eddie Dobson(R) & Brian Menefy(P), the Welly drivers like Richard Gaskin, Gary Marshall and Graeme Wood. I didn't get down south often back then... I tended to stay in New Zealand lol Good times and good memories. I'm rapt to see the class back in good heart in the north island after a very shakey looking period not too many years back I won't even start on the sidecars and the good times back in the day 🤣

Probably a shame they never paired up on a Sidecar 🤣 Barry B

I was on the Interislander just after the nzs had been in the south island a few years ago. One car that was also on the ferry was so beaten up, I had no idea what it was.. Those were the days.

Lol Make that 4 sidecar and streetstock fans. Love both classes and the characters they represent. Be careful meandering to far down memory lane, sometimes its hard to find your way back to close the gate. Trying to pick 1nz 2nz 3nz is harder to pick than a broken nose.
