For those north of Taupo

UPDATE 10:00AM, THU 01 FEB - This daytime closure schedule has been updated, with closures still occurring between 9.00am and 2.30pm. SH1 Taupo-Turangi is closed today (Thu 01 Feb) until 2.30pm, and then closed on new dates: Sun+Mon, 04-05 Feb. This section of SH1 will be open Fri+Sat, 02-03 Feb + Tue 06 Feb. ^TP

Thanx for that. That will help tomorrow. Unfortunately I have to come back on Monday, but at least traffic should be less than Friday hopefully.

Think I wud still go alt route. Stop go road works on sh1. Going nowhere fast.

Been stopped for 30 mins just out of Taupo. No traffic flows in either direction. Would hate to see the line behind us. Can't seethe front of the line either. Going to be a long trip.
