I have noticed a few drivers swapping clubs/tracks and ending up with different letters behind their numbers. Can drivers change track at anytime through a season? Obviously some factor has driven them to change but what’s the point registering to a track if you can change?

Most of the changes I imagine - with no stats in front of me - are for teams racing in both the Stockcar and Superstock classes, either through enticement or not making their home team but getting an offer of an opening for a rival team. Teams racing isn't for everyone, some avoid it whilst others love it, meaning some tracks don't have enough competitors to fill a team line up whilst others have too many.

There are 4 Palmy cars that raced for other tracks at the stockcar teams & had to change tracks for the rest of the season, fairly sure it's to do with the limit on ring-ins that are in the rules for the title
