Its a VERY old car and has served her pilots well over the years. There were concerns back in the mid 90's that the chassis was past its used by date(when Glenn Campbell owned it as 26p then n) But as things happen it just got more Horse power strapped into it and away it went. Wouldnt mind a $ for every lap its done over the years. ;D Probably the oldest Kuriger built car that has been on the track of late???

whats the story with the perspex panels on some of them gordge cars? 6s I think and a few others. The perspex panels worked the same way as a wing. I was talking to Murray Gordge the other day and he told me that when the rules were changed to outlaw the big wings, they didn't say anything about the panel on the right hand side so he put a sheet of perspex there with a hole for the flag to go through! I think that only lasted a season before that was banned as well.

Nice photos there jrodz69 - just love that number 181 Morris Minor. and the 47 car is a great looker as well (I'm guessing it is an old Anglia?). Is the 18 car a Morrie 1100 or an A55?

I think you may find that the 181 car is graham young from invercargill. The 25 car would be jack kirk from dunedin, hope thats right.
