Next Saturdays NI TQ Champs in Gisborne should be a great event.Cars from Auckland,Hawkes Bay and Gisborne will fight it out for the title on the fastest track in the country.Paul Le Cren from Auckland will be looking to defend the title he won at the Springs last year but will be up against quick opposition. The East Coast challenge will come from a host of drivers including local Dylan MacGregor and Napiers Craig Todd.

Apparantly 30 cars so should be a good one. Good to see the Auck cars travelling to. Shows the banked oval is worth the travel for these guys.

Results of the NI Champs were. 1st Craig Todd-Napier 2nd Duane Todd-Napier 3rd Ross Linklater-Auckland Track conditions were dry and slick mainly due to hot weather hampering the track preparation.Quite a bit of carnage saw many drivers pick up a lot of damage in several major incidents.
