Kia ora Yep a well deserved win to FWJ who was superb as usual and well supported by the team. Having seen you guys in action at Coventry you have the skills to do the teams thing and it will be interesting to see if you have the tactics. Good start the other night though as you were teams racing against a few more than 4 cars! Mind you a Mr Rees wasn't involved and shock and horror a Mr Miers won the last heat! Two factors that never happen in the Palmy teams champs. Green flags and green lights.

A Question too I think Rotorua drivers are rather confused because they hammered or tried to the palmy cars and the other Poms except Frankie was it because Frankie has an R on his car? he is still a pom and auoit qualifier just interested in that aspect as it was a rather weird race to watch unfold, the other poms were trying to help Frankie but at times looked like they were actually attacking him lol as they muffed it a few times. It was a great classic Stockcar race

whilst frankie is winning titles in nz ....his car is making headlines in the u.k. at the national exhibition centre as frankie compares himself to "the maestro" .... probably the best stockcar driver of all-time .....stu smith.

It was noticeable how much time was consumed by the R cars on the less significant Poms but then that was almost balanced by the number of Poms who had a go at their own man! Shows the quality of FWJ that he avoided his own drivers as well as all the others. Also a shame that Stan Hickey received punctures early on in the race... Green flags and green lights

Should have replied to this the other day...
Congrats Frankie, as usual, you beat the odd's and placed in a meeting after alot of attention and a banged up Samantha!
Pure Legend and one we always support, even though I cheer when you get taken out lol, we still support you!
To the other GB drivers, you all done yourselves proud and for the first time that I have witnessed, FWJ didnt win it on his own, he has some team mates that backed him up. Was a privilige to watch... good on the 84GB for the killer block on the 58p...
Bring on Sunday

Green flags and green lights Yes but in fact they(the Poms) were protecting him(Wainman), just getting it wrong at times, will be interesting to see how their protection works at the teams champs could be a real laugh lol

Great to see some UK supporters getting on here to support the team - FWJ did a great job in Rotorua, but unfortunatly got taken out on the grass on Sunday by one of the panthers at the Global challenge.
Fortunatly for 99v - FWJ lept from his car and ran to a burning stockcar and pulled the driver out. A brave man with flames leaping everywhere, a scary moment that was captured on the big screen for the stadium to see.
Lucky for FWJ and the rest of the Brits they get the chance to exact there revenge on the Panthers on Friday night.
And even better news, one of the team won the last heat of the global challange in the Scott Miers spaceframe, and was absolutly flying.
The British team have the pace, and it will be interesting to see how they go with a 4 on 4.
Will there be any UK supporters here for the meeting, or has it come too late??
Well done to all those who came over - they seem to have pretty good gear, and all looked on the case on Sunday night at PN.

Congratulations Frankie, great driving at the 240's, abit unlucky at the 248's with a DNF. But pretty much won the night with pulling Watkins out of his car that was pretty much fully in flames. Shows how much of a legend he really is.
