Last I heard Kpod was leasing the 299c tank for teams so I assume thats what he will be driving at the 248s too.

with the likes of pod, mooney, rees and miers surely wainman wont get to win this one.... I understand scottys reputation and history, but I'm struggling to think of the last time he genuinely went ''dog'' at a championship recently, with the intention of stopping multiple cars . Maybe I've just been watching the wrong races.

The 66p Whittaker car this season is the ex-29p Jonathon and Billy Richardson driven track car from the two seasons before.
Barry 'Mungo' Lane had something to do with it also, as I remember it having 77p on it too. It's the car Brett Hyslop drove with great success in the Teams Champs final as the 6th driver when the Manawatu Mustangs beat the Chch Glen Eagles.
The other ex-Thurston/Bengston/track car was built by Bevan Clarke and is now owned by Rees and is being driven by 75p Gavin Taniwha with a Holden V6 as a Stockcar.
worldno1 was right, the running gear from that has been put in the new 32p Graeme Barr built car.

32p is the new track car, with all the old running gear out of the ward/locke toyota. With that chassie being run by Gav Taniwha.
66p Tony Whittaker is the track Holden that use to be Bundys car and is running virtally the same running gear out of Tonys old World 240s winning car.

Man wish it started earlier, like maybe a 4pm start. Combine the travelling with the late start on a sunday and the kids will just be grumpy Monday morning!

I know this isnt about the topic but what size lens do you have on your camera pallmall? That was taken with a 200mm zoom at 150mm, plus the original image is large enough to crop at 3872 x 2592 megapixels. Just a cheap Nikon. Thanks Pallmall, just got me a sony camera and was playing with it at the 240's, but it only come with a 18mm-70mm lens, will have to save up for a bigger one!
