In our quest to become the best track we can ... It has come to light that there maybe one or two Macgorians attending the NI SUPER SALOONS on Jan 31st In GISBORNE. Now as Macgorians maybe VIP treatment is deserved .. SO heres a few ideas that we would like some feedback so we maybe able to implement. This would make your stay / visit / viewing / etc in Gisborne more memorable. If we reserved a section of seating ?- Would ALL Macgorians sit together?
- Where would you like to sit? (see photo)
- Would you like blankiess and pillows?
Would Macgorians take advantage of pre organized events?- Pre event dinner / drinks?
- Post event drinks?
- Sunday Brunch?
- Viewing of "Cue TVs 1 hour highlights package at 5.30pm of NZ Super Saloons" somewhere?
- Photo session ? (may include drivers)
As a Macgorians your entitlements could be?- Pit Passes
- Signed souvenir Program
- Meet and Greet
- Club rep to fetch Hog Dog & Chips etc
- or what ever

Havent been back since 07... But Gizzy Speedway is always the best, always welcoming and friendly. Boy do I miss that track! Cant wait for the meeting that drags me back  Good on you Gizzy for looking at the bigger picture & the power of loyal fans and the internet! |

Will be at the meeting. Really looking forward to it. Will prob be sitting round 6 in BP corner.
Would like to meet more macgorians. Must be fun when all these people turn up and you realise your opinions are in conflict with others. Bring it on, good or bad. Surely no body will hit me in front of my sons! :-)
Otherwise that would be wrong, just don't put a Hampton on me!

Committee meeting tomorrow (thursday) night and i hope to have some numbers which now that i am back from my southern jaunt (if you havnt seen the milford sound you are missing one of the worlds best kept secrets) i will post for everyone. I will be at BP this weekend and if Shane Mc can win this weekend he will hold all three titles ( NZ NI and GP) at same time . He will i expect be in Gizzy to defend his title on the 31st. Will watch with interest how this weekends meeting is run format wise.

7m Brent Emerson won the north islands last year Richard, as Murray Guy has said in another thread, Brent will be one to watch at this weekends GP & the NI champs next weekend at Gissy, his changed driving style will suit a slick track & we all know he is not afraid of running by the wall if the tracks there.
