At the north island stockcar champs John Viles had a gauge that they have made to check your cam lift and he had checked a engine and when rocking the car the cam lift came up over 500 (not at the north islands early in the season) so what they want to do is check all cam lifts on motors BUT i think there is a shady point on the cam lift rule from what i have heard lately.

If you have something to hide then you would have to be worried!!! I know of several illegal engines that were at the StockShock here in Nelson last season and I have to say they will be the first to be checked over the course of the weekend. Mr Viles has a plan and Im sure he will implement it when he gets the oppuruntiy!! Be afraid....very afraid!!! Thats if you have something to hide of course..... Good luck..... if you have been cheating!!!
