Don't put all engine builders under a cloud here Wingnut. Tell the whole story or leave it alone

Speculation (no)
It is a known fact there are motors out there with cam lift of 560 and more.
Wingnut is onto something, SNZ need to grow some nuts and start checking engines.

SNZ need to grow some nuts and start checking engines. Feel free to protest those is question, as per Rule G10-3 If it what you say is a fact, then the protester gets their $300 refunded that it costs to protest an engine.

It is more the fact that SNZ know this is going on but chose to turn a blind eye !!!!!!!!!!! A lot of drivers don't have a clue what there cam lift is and if there engine builder has got it wrong and they are checked it is on them, (as we have seen in the past). The engine builder walks away sot free is this rite? ?

It is a known fact there are motors out there with cam lift of 560 and more. On what "known facts" could you possibly base your statement on?. Unless the owner of a motor with excessive lift has been mouthing off,the only other way such a motor would be "known" about, would be via an inspection......and apparently, nuts need to be grown before that happens.

Was it measured with a solid lifter in place or a hydraulic lifter?

not sure we had to take off the rocker cover and then they bolted on some thing and had to then rock the car back and foward was fine there were about 3 of the same motors there.

If someone has some suspicions about someone elses motor, put ya money where ya mouth is and get it checked properly, instead of starting some vague thread throwing speculation and generalisations about. If you "know" someone is cheating do something about it.

Was it measured with a solid lifter in place or a hydraulic lifter? If it runs a solid lifter then it would be checked like that wouldn't it? I dont think that SNZ is allowed to change your engine before they check it are they? I feel that the person who is making the insinuations should come clean and say what he thinks the problem is or just shut up. You are casting doubt on all cars and engine builders without putting up the proof of any wrongdoing.
