was a good evenings racing Pickins won the 30 lapper from 1nz in a totally awesome race, in the prod saloons it was 58h 1st then 48h 2nd. and a run off for 3rd was 6h and cant remember who else. But was a good day overall. Track was fast and is just going to get faster.

I got to see the 1st round of racing in all classes at Kihikihi jump in car head to Baypark and only miss Supersaloon time trials and saloon and ministock 1st heats.
Kihikihi - Baypark 110kms

Sounds like it was a great meeting to attend, always good to see how a new track preforms, what were the lap times like and does anyone have photos from the meeting...

one would think they were set and broke and will for some time as the old ones probably wont stand due to new track configuration

one would think they were set and broke and will for some time as the old ones probably wont stand due to new track configuration are you saying that they srcaped the old times are started fresh or do you still have to beat the old times from the old layout

Just spoken to Christine Towgood and apparently the track is very rough and the grader was coming out before the final Saloon race!

They will get lowered again.

Some photos taken about ½ an hour before the racing on Saturday night. It was extremely wet. The TQs and midgets did a great job getting rid of the excess wet stuff. Man did it get rough through the night. I have never raced on anything like it. It will get better with use.
