Not very good quality but a few pics I took. That UK stockcar was awesome to see go round the track at Palmy. Initially thought the meeting was going to be a bit of an anti climax as there didn't seem to be much of a crowd 5 minutes before the grand parade but they kept on arriving and ended up with a good crowd who we believe got great entertainment for the $25. As far as the Global Challenge went, no do or die hitting but it was fast and hard close racing all night long, a few drivers stood out and impressed. Andy McCabe( unlucky certainly deserving of the win overall), Ricky Logan, this guy can drive a superstock, give him a few races and he will be up there with Frankie. Shane Penn had a trouble free run, nice to see him get the trophy after the shocker few weeks he has had, congratulations and thanks for the entertainment. The support classes even the ministocks were entertaining, thanks. Low point...lack of Northern cars supporting this event, is that because of the 240/248 rivalry, if so my answer to that is the Palmy cars support the 240's and it would have been nice to see a few more Northern based (Huntly, Rotorua, Auckland) superstocks there, you missed the chance of participating in some great fast and furious racing, plus I couldn't find a programme seller so missed out on a programme. Awesome Photo's Del. Thanks for sharing those.. Yeah Kiwi Kev built his own chassis, certainly one of the best engineered Superstocks with its nice design and tough front bumpers.. It has turned alot of heads this season, both chassis and driver
