Is this a locals only championship?
Advertising on the radio sugeests monsterous numbers of saloons at Bay Park this week. I was under the impression is was just for locally registered cars.
Of late there has been low to mid 20's fields and I wouldn't call that monsterous

it would suprise me if there is many non-M cars planning on going , it was apprantly stated at the start of the season that he would let outside cars in, but in my dealings it was hard to get a straight answer to see if you can come and race.

And according to the radio ad it's "the toughest competition in all of speedway".
regardless - for all those out there who want to know what's going on at Bay Park - this is it for this weekend. Also the usual sprints, stocks, mini stocks and supersaloons (the ones not in Gisborne). The Laz-E-Boy series is held over 2 (or 3?) meets and is great racing with a strong field (even if it is only M cars).
see you at the Park

The saloon class is certainly hotly contested. As usual there will be some good racing, especially if they strat fastest off the back for the feature.
I will have to listen to the ad on the radio again because I didn't think I heard them say Supers. (could well be wrong though).
I am off to support the Mount cars in Gizzy. Sounds like Williams is out for Gizzy and Emmerson is 50/50 after his blow up last week. He has acquired another engine and it was going in yesterday.
