personally cannot understand why the club are running the series at all if no Aucklanders are in it! Not to mention stumping up with $7k prizemoney (if it is true) when they are complaining of being broke and cutting back on the money they pay out in prizemoney to their own registered competitors All sounds a bit back to front if you ask me What sort of crowd is expected when they are not only running against the teams champs in Palmy but also the widget 50 lapper at the Springs Sounds like another Tui billboard.....Great promotional scheduling.... Yeah right!! Although I think any series promoting Super Saloons has it merits, I must admit to be disappointed when I heard direct from a SSCAR Member that Waikaraka Park were going to pay $7k for a round of the series and that Huntly was only paying $4k for their round. The Super Saloon Class have 7 Saturday Night appearances scheduled at Waikaraka and now at one of those Shows none of the Clubs own Supers are going to be part of it. So much for supporting the Clubs own members who have been there for the Club this season. Maybe its one of the reasons Auckland has 3 Super Saloons up for sale and another talking of being Huntly registered next season The ASSCC on the 28th Feb is running what used to be the Super Saloon equivalent of the Modified Dirt Cup, the "Super Saloon Nationals" yet Willie is running that night and the SSCAR boys are doing another round at another track so who will be there?

If thats the case, then not many. Super series plus BP running means beggar all supers left. Good luck there!

Ask the "idiot", i'm sure this meeting has been well planned and the other meeting taken in to consideration I heard from someone else they paid the 7k as well, I also heard the promoter tried to back out of it after the deal was done. We love this man and we are truly blessed to have him controlling (indirectly) the future of of WP Out of curiosity how much is the purse for the Dirty Cup next week, you would have to hope it is signicantly more.

Without knowing the numbers, all tracks are paying the same. Some clubs may have sponsorship assisting with those costs, but no track is paying a lesser amount than any other in the form of a discount.
