hi does any one know how change the setup in pc so i can watch teams champs on tv and not pc screen ,using hdmi cable from pc to tv tv has hdmi plug as does the pc just cant get picture onto tv ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, help ,,,,,,,, please

hi im in a similar boat! although i have got a pic from comp to tv but its just a pic of my desktop!! hmm man at computer shop musnt have understood i wanted to watch tv on my compter on a tv haha! if anyone can help us both out that would be great!!!

what you will have to do is go to control panel on pc and set up 2 screen mode so when you plug in tv it will show whats playing on your screen. But there is a setting that will set it up as a second desktop so you got to choose the other one.
Sorry if confused been awhile since I did it lol

Does you TV have a VGA connection on the back, that might be a better bet than HDMI.
Most sets I have seen with HDMI also have a VGA connection on the back so if your set has one just go down to dick smith and get a cable and off you go.

Depending on your PC - you may have a S-video socket on the side. It will be round, yellow with a number of small slots in it. If you can find a S-video to RCA adapter this should be compatible with most tvs, following the dual monitor setup as described above.
Given the resolution of the video stream on Speedbox, HDMI will probably make it look pretty rough so its better to use a lower definition into the TV so that the video artifacts are less obvious.
Good luck finding the adaptor though, I checked several places including thingy smith electronics (curse the autocensor), noel leemings and harvey normans... expensive.....
