Hi all sunset speedway in Westport turns 21this weekend a big thank you to Mr macgors for allowing us to his great site we have a great weekend of talking then racing on sat with $500.00 winner takes all derby with a few surprises there then party on sat night

how do we find the track?? only been into westport once,and that was for 5min.. Go through the town right at the end of the main drag, heading north out of town it should be signposted apparently. (thats what ive been told anyways)

head in to town turn right onto cobden street head past the hosp and school turn left after school and you will see all the cars and yes there is signs out too racing starts 12noon

HI all day started out a wee damp but on start time was awesome just out of shower to cool down after some hot racing ;Din mini stocks which nearly was stock cars in last heat but that was stopped very fast 21n super saloon showed us some awesome pace around the sunset speedway track sub 15seconds i was told faster then solo bikes well me off to Albion hotel for prize given will post results up later much later say tomorrow even A very big thank you to all that raced and made our 21st birthday meeting awesome Ross Walters

more action in that last ministock race than alot of stocky races ive seen..
although i think there will be a few stern words to some of those guys for carrying on on the red,especially dragging along the marshall that was trying to stop them.. dickheads...
the saloon was impressive on the small track..
hope cory(solo)? is ok after that nasty off on the 1st lap.

cory is fine had a couple of drinks r18 type with hes sore but a tough lad some of the mini stocks adults need to change classes to full contact them feel real hitting as they where a wee bit out of control or had red haze or there eyes......... in hands of snz

That dirt bank hurts more than the wall sometimes.
Was a very good day i think derby was good fun will be doing the next one, well looks like ill have to finish the production sell it and buy another ministock with the racing that was going on!! ;D ;D
