insert a long string of expletives here !!!!!!! What happened to the supposed co-operation between the clubs, I see that both clubs are running Superstocks, Minisprints and Stockcars on the same night, bloody brilliant. Can't see many Minisprints invading WP when they will be contesting the 30 lapper in Huntly. Also doesn't bode well for a full feild to contest the Ollie Browne for Superstocks, which this event deserves at the very least. Then we come to stockcars, how many will actually show if 10 have been released to contest Waikato champs. Some people need to pull their heads in pretty quick and just get on with each other and actually foster the great sport of speedway. The sooner I can re-locate to Rotovegas the better. amen! post of the season! apart from the re-locating to rotovegas bit . it was said that waikaraka huntly kihikihi and rotorua were going to do their best to work together eg, standing down a class at the other tracks when one has a championship meeting. i see no evidence of this happening in the second half of the season at least

Huntly Kihikihi and Rotorua Did work together great. there race dates were on Macgors back in Sept and all sorted and sent to SNZ, However in while the three clubs were doing so waikaraka were playing games with SNZ and over the demo derby they ran and called smash-fest 08, Which SNZ wasted time and thousands of dollars to sort out, How could Huntly Kihikihi and Rotorua work with a club that didn't even know if they were still going to be in SNZ till the meeting. If i remember right Rotorua had there opening night before Auckland SNZ were given Green-sheets and License's/

My God, Chequebooks 100 % right
In saying that I don't believe theres any Waikaraka Park Vs Huntly at all.........to have that, one would have to suggest that both Teams are playing and I don't believe Huntly are..........
I don't believe its even Waikaraka Park are really playing, Just the leader and his puppet.......with a ill informed Committee following.

From where I sit you are right kwikchange , I don't think Huntly are playing either, I wouldn't go so far as to say its deliberate but the traffic, with a few acceptations has been one way from Auckland to Huntly. Ive been to all Auck meetings bar 1 , and far more A cars on far more occasions have appeared in Huntly than H cars have appeared in Auckland. Auckland has supported its near neighbor well in the past and I wish them every success for this weekend, if I didn't have a previous commitment at my "home" track I know where I would be. Huntly go hard and have a great time.

I have to disagree. Sunday club days what's the point (cant even keep dreavers there)
with only 12 big meetings on Sat night, its hard for H cars to get excied about Wp,

And $15 now seems to be the fixed Huntly price, well done, whereas recent Saturday night shows in Auckland have been $20.

Huntly go hard and have a great time. Personally Bernie, I think its pretty despicable that the whole A.S.S.C.C. Committee have decided to stick it to its own Members that want to go and represent their Club at another clubs Championship. After all it was your own members that asked for the Clearances to attend Huntly..............Remember your 1st priority is to be a Club. I also know personally how hard some of the Huntly Reps have tried and worked to get their cars to come to Auckland and support the A.S.S.C.C and Waikaraka Speedway. nuts if you treat your own members this way no wonder no one wants to come and support The actions of you and the rest of the Committee is nothing more than a slap in the face to those Huntly Reps who have tried to support and encourage their drivers to Waikaraka. Like I said previously, I think theres only one team playing a game and maybe that should be of more interest............

Two weeks ago I was all for the meet at WP with the Dirt Cup and Ollie Browne memorial. Now I am not so sure : Huntly - 53 stockcars ( 11 from WP ), 18 minisprints, 18 productions, ministocks 20+, 6 saloons. Unknown - Superstocks 5-6 ?, Super saloons 2-3 ?. $15 WP - 20 Mods, Superstocks ?, Super Saloons 5-6 ?, Minisprints 5-6 ?, Stockcars 5-6 ? Ministocks 20+. $20 At this stage still leaning towards WP because of Mods, Superstocks and Super saloons but the stockcars at Huntly has real appeal

Been told that there are 20 super stocks as well if that helps ;D. Don't shoot me if that is wrong!

20 superstocks is pretty tempting, would be good to see where they are all coming from as I know there are a number of drivers helping out at Ministocks in paradise this weekend, not just Rotorua drivers either.

There sure are SWP, could make up an awesome team from names mentioned. Miers, Rees, Fraser and Hewson would be a good start.
