On the Wellington Speedway calendar it has the Wellington Superstock Champs listed on the 21st Feb. Is this still all go? If so how many cars will be there?
We want to come up if there is a good size field, we have tried contact numbers from the Wellington site 4-5 times over the last 2 days but no one answers. If someone can give us a number of someone in the know up there it would be much appreciated.

Had word from shells the other night that its a no go purely becuase its the finals night of the nz sprintcars in Palmy nth so the crowed wouldnt be as big as liked and they are hoping to run them in March, March the 7th I think was a proposed date?

Ok thanks for that not sure if we can make that date.Do you know if they are running Superstocks on ANZAC weekend.

Not too sure about ANZAC but shells did mention they are trying to run them the friday night as ANZAC will more then likely be a 2 night event.
Will pay to ring Kevin Winn as he will know more info.

There has been quite a few SI cars in a number of classes asking me about going over for the ANZAC meeting if it is over two nights (We owe them for their support of the stock shock) and ANZAC is an awesome meeting. We had a ball last year. If you get no response Dale ring me and I will get Michelle (the secretary) on the case for you. |

Hi Dale Sorry internet down at work so just saw this imagine no Macgors all day at work, very tough  Yes there will be no wgtn superstock champs on 21st February & as Jordy stated they are looking at possibly March 7th. They are considering having the Anzacs a 2 nighter and also having superstocks so if you want to come please please please email info@wellingtonspeedway.co.nz or phone Kevin as the more that put up there hands the more chance we have of making anzacs a two nighter yay  Reason not on 21st is the superstocks will be running at Palmy so they will be unable to attend, not because the sprint cars are running Jordy |

Hi Dale firstly congrats on the Palmy teams champs results was a huge effort by the Tigers..secondly would be awesome 2 see you at the East Coast SuperStock champs in March-Gisborne..Was a top class feild last year incl Penn, Redfurn, Faram, Hewson, McCabe, Hickey, Hewson etc to name a few. I guess it would all depend if your car was on this side of the ditch @ that time..

Not to influence your decision Dale but I think Meeanee are running the Autumn Nationals for Superstocks on the 25th as well. But good luck wherever you race. |
