Well im putting a minisprint together and am currently working on the engine (planning stage) Bottom end is going to be relatively standard apart from a clean up. Going to bore engine for mazda B6 pistons. I have twin webers and manifold.
Now my question is:- (engine to be worked on every off season for more power as skill develops etc)
1. Should I spend money on a cam or get the head ported? Not sure on what fuel I will run at this stage.

a cam will cost you aprox $200 for a new one so depending on your budget you may be able to get some work done to head as well

kelfords in south island would be best place for proven a series minisprint cams but have heard good things about kiwi cams in palmy but in ministocks not minisprints. you could also use franklyn cams in pukekohe
