Can't see a thread on this yet so what's the story? I see from the WG site that the follwing have entered...
1nz John "Jacko" Jackson 2nz Glen Leech 3nz Bunter Pierce 4c Mike Gourley 5w Brian McPhee 6w Phil Patterson 6gm Brandon Parkinson 13c Dave Thompson 14c Gus Alford 17c Nigel Nevin 19a Scott Lane 46c Brett Stack 49c Maurice Headley 94c Paul Richards 871c Luke Keegan
Any others? It's great to see 1NZ, 2NZ and 3NZ will all be there. As well as another 3 NI cars as well.
So who are the favourites? 1, 2, and 3 NZ obviously. Scotty Lane would have to be up there as well as Mike Gourley. When I left Luke was running strong as was Brett. Shame Natasha has ended her season early (although I can understand why!). Who will be the dark horse that'll throw the cat in with the pigeons?

Its going to be a fantastic two nights racing, big blue sky outside so at least the weather is playing ball. Glen Leech has to be up there, he knows the track! question is will the powerplant play ball tonight. Id love to see Mike take it out, he seems to of improved and gotten faster and fast as this season has gone on. As for putting on the best show. Well no question about it that would have to go to the BRT camp and Luke Keegan, Lets just hope he can keep the car together and allow for other drives to settle into the track, you only have to be in the lead on the last lap.

These will be your top 5 this weekend 1,2,3,4,871 I think you need to put 19a in there as well. Scotty's always great to watch. Although I wouldn't bet against your picks either ;D Thinking of picks, is the TAB putting odds up?

Im going for the 4C Mike Gourley to do the buisness this weekend I think both him and 19A Scotty Lane run identical chassies so Im putting scotty in to run 2nd with the 1,2&3NZ's to fight out the minor placings.. All the best to those competing.

Wow, it sounds like an action packed night And what a amazing picture (sorry you were the subject Paul), one of the best I've seen for a while. How are the cars? Will everyone be running tonight? Except, I'm guessing Paul Richards

Congradulations to 19a Scotty Lane He drove an awesome race to win the final also an awesome effort from 4c Mike Gourley & 3nz Bunter Pierce. It was defintly hard racing and one had to feel sorry for 871c Luke Keegan who I felt would have been a deserved winner if not for some bad luck in the final..... With the track conditions suiting those who had the right setup I guess you had to be there to witness the action , Bring on the NZ Champs on January 8th/9th 2010

Well done Scotty, Mike and Bunter.
What happened to Jacko (damage too great?) and Glen? And what was the bad luck for Luke?

Well done Scotty, Mike and Bunter. What happened to Jacko (damage too great?) and Glen? And what was the bad luck for Luke? Jacko, Luke both got flat tires within the 1st lap of the race. Glen suffered to much damage last night so was a guest comentator for the modified races tonight.
