this season?
You wouldnt think so with the lack of promotion and also the lack of chat on here.
Seems typical of the woodfordglen management team not to promote Modifieds
Seems that all they are interested in is stock cars, and saloons!
Maybe the rumors i have heard are true!

More cars? I think the Glen should finish up with probably the third biggest field of Modifieds in New Zealand this summer, which is some achievement in itself at this time of the year.
The New Zealand title at Stratford had 25 cars, the Dirt Cup at Waikaraka Park had either 20 or 21. I think the GP at Welly was around a dozen, the NI title at Rotorua only had 14.
So I think WG has done exceptionally well to attract 18 entries, although they have lost 84c since then of course.

I think 15 will still be the third best turnout of the season.

Now to me your comment that they are more interested in promting stock cars is unfounded and untrure and as for rumors you have heard either put up or dont bother posting things you have proven you know nothing about

@ Cabby1 - the Mod's have drawn the short straw more than their fair share over the last few years. How about 4 S/Saloons running the feature on the night of the Canty or Sth Isld Mod Champs a few years ago. From memory there were still 8+ Mod's more than willing to run. I do agree, however, that selling/promoting the NZ Mod Title already is brilliant. Maybe the tide is turning... finally. As for so called rumours from the "wiseoldfart"... Sounds like a Tui moment
