well one might wonder with the shift of power to the south island, that perhaps there might be some defections our way. will be interesting how many outsiders will stick with a p on their door this season, or how long it will last if the p this season dont perform. dont be so sure busterbell i know of a south island driver heading to palmy

Would be a shame for the SI if some did move after last year's 1, 2, 3 efforts in ChCh, and I've heard rumours surrounding 3 top cars/drivers from down that way. But rumours are only rumours until proven one way or another.
Whilst this all sounds great for Palmy and Rotorua, one really bad thing this would achieve is to park up even more top cars come Teams Champs weekend. Our central showpiece then becomes even more unbalanced.

Perhaps a "State of Origin" rule should apply for the Teams Champs
" Mate against Mate"
Or could be a new event for a "switched on" promoter or promotional group

Wat made you go back to the "P" over the "W"? Car numbers which lead to better competition and also because we live closer to the P

Yes it would be a very big shame as you said Barry considering they got 1 2 3 NZ and may be able to do it again and they probably want to get as much cars to help them out for kihikihi

It is a shame that you are going to contract to Palmerston for minisprints as we are trying to make a bigger field at Wellington to create competition. Also, yes there are more minisprints in Palmerston North but i do not know how many are running every race night. Wellington should have the thrid highest amount of minisprints contracted out of the 6 tracks running them.
