The first TR8 was jumbos then Glen's had 323 front hubs with the back of the cv machined off. The one with the rover rack running down the left hand chasiss rail was built for my partner at the time had trevor masons x superstock motor in it james Berryman drove it in Ch Ch at woodford glens 25 aniversary but it broke must of had chev paerts in it.
Cheers Steve

Can you put them up - that would be interesting.
BTW - HRC built a car with that lengthwise power rack set up (used that unusual looking one with the right angled input shaft out of a Mazda Bongo van - that 55H Cortina has one too) - it was the first version of the Larsen Ltd Saloon Corvette.
It had the rack running along the chassis rail and then used bell cranks and cross over rods - I think it worked OK, but I know it got changed to a conventional Sweet rack later on, so must have had a down side somewhere??

That White 222 Mustang ended up in Greymouth too in the hands of Ray Parkinsons Brother Jimmy, I have no idea what happened to it after Jimmy had it I was going to ask him about it at the 25th Greenstone Park Birthday dinner but he never showed up so hopefully someone out here may know where it went

Wasnt Jimmys Lovelady Mustang the "house " car that John Lovelady raced himself?? Had the bling chrome rims and some serious shocks and racing leaf springs.

Im not too sure there Pete,I know Jimmy was driving her about 1990 (I left in 1992) At the same meeting I took the pic of you in your Mod And the 25th Booklet has it still with the 222 number on it but with the Parkinson Sponsership all over her,I will have to scan the page out of the book and post it here ASAP then i think we may know after that

The Berrymans are still looking for one of Jumbo's XP Falcon Sprint Saloons to restore. Does anyone know what became of any of them? Please PM me if you know where to locate one, in any condition.

Ray Parky is running the ex Jumbo/Clive Mustang Mod so I reckon that pic IS before the KOC. Great days all right!!!
